Michael Rucker of Scout Clean Energy Announced as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 National Finalist
Boulder, CO (November 21, 2023) – Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) this week announced that Michael Rucker, Founder and CEO of Scout Clean Energy (Scout), was named an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 National finalist. Rucker was selected from a pool of 224 Entrepreneur Of The Year 2023 regional award winners where only 40 candidates emerged with national finalist honors.
Founded by Rucker in 2016, Scout Clean Energy is a renewable energy developer and owner-operator headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. Scout currently operates more than 1,200 MW of wind energy projects and boasts a pipeline of 19,000 MW of wind, solar, and battery storage projects nationwide. Rucker was selected by a panel of independent judges made up of entrepreneurs and other notable business leaders from across the US. The candidates were evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.
