Position Summary Description
As an Intern within Scout’s M&A team, you will support the due diligence process for acquisitions and potential sales of utility-scale wind and solar projects.
You will manage the data room, conduct key analyses on your own, and coordinate third-party review where appropriate. Your strategic engagement of the Development team will enable them to focus their energy on greenfield and mid- to late-stage development while providing critical insights into the due diligence process.

In addition, you will conduct research to support our project identification and negotiation efforts:
You will join the M&A team, reporting directly to the Vice President of M&A. You will collaborate extensively with team members across the company as Scout continues to grow through both organic and strategic acquisition opportunities to bring high quality wind and solar projects into our pipeline for development.
Timeline and Location
This position will begin as soon as possible, preferably in late August 2021 or earlier.
We envision that this will be a part-time internship during the 2021-2022 school year with the potential to extend to Summer 2022 if it is mutually agreeable.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work out of our Boulder office on a regular basis. Scout is a leading safety company supporting the health and safety of its team members and their families.
